Lately we noticed an improvement with many of you; an improvement, which is apparent with every new set. This is also the case of Roman Doleček. His first set caught our attention with its individuality, but with the second one, two words were sufficient – Editor’s choice. Whereas his first set was characterized by bird’s-eye photos, his second week he showed a willingness to glance up as well, thereby putting together a very creative week of life.

Petr Kleiner's week is interesting not only with the infinite number of expressions his daughter is able to charm on her face. His week also allowed us to explore the underwater world. His images of a little mermaid taken under the surface of a swimming pool perfectly fit into the low key atmosphere and the cold tones of this Christmas week.

Thanks to their concert tours, Musician Romek Hanzlík and his band have an amazing opportunity to visit various corners of our planet. He photographed his last week so far in the faraway New Zealand. He was able to document the beauty of local nature and incredibly changing skies, which engross all attention. Magnificent colors and diversity of Mr. Hanzlík’s week along with exhaustive comments overwhelmed the Week of Life editor’s office.

Costa Rica was recently declared the greenest and the happiest country of the world. When looking at Gouttenoir Toh’s week of life, one no longer wonders why. His sunlight-filled set breathes incredible peace and ease and in our pre-Christmas rush it charges us with new energy. In addition, Gouttenoire Toh is also a great photographer, whose photographs highlight the magical power of Costa Rica.

Zdeněk Dvořák documented already the third week of his life and once again his sense for people and photography took our breath away. It may seem that he cannot surprise us with anything but the power of life, which literally gushes from his weeks, is so great that one cannot get tired of them. It’s said that not even the best equipment will make you a photographer, you must have it in you. Without a doubt, Mr. Dvořák has this gift.
