Each and every new member who enters the Week of Life project has to go through the experience of documenting his or her first week. Some members take some time to get the right feel of their life documentary, others master their cameras right away and present themselves with sets that receive a large number of repeat visits. That is the case of Miloslav Hamřík and his first week with the name 'Web editor's week in spring'. He captured moments spent at home, at work or while documenting street details and along with mixing color with b&w photos managed to create one fascinating set. We believe Miloslav will be pleasantly surprised with today's selection and hope it will motivate him to document more weeks in the future.

Today, a cell phone is an indispensable part of our lives for many. And for many members of the Week of Life project, the reason is obvious. They use it as a discreet, yet ever-present tool for documenting life. Even though a cell phone camera does not reach the standard of normal cameras, it functions pretty well in capturing the right moments in life, which is essentially what the project is about. Ondřej Kučera was one of the many who has decided to document life with a cell phone and has already presented himself with a second ‘mobile’ week. Black and white suits his sets perfectly and we hope that he keeps using his cell phone to document such classy weeks in the future.

Champions! We are the Champions. These and similar chants of victory were present in the streets of Třinec for several days and Honza Belej was one of many to hear them. He was present at all of the ice-hockey games as a photographer and apart from his life and things around him, his weekly sets included the ride to triumph of the Třinec ice-hockey players. The atmosphere around the hockey club must have been extremely exciting and the overall experience, which we were able to live through along with the emotions of players and fans alike, was surely priceless. Honza was able to capture these emotions and joy of the players perfectly and as result, his week was selected for today's Editor's Choice.

Jan Notovný is one of the many veterans of the Week of Life project. On several occasions, his skill and talent has persuaded us to go over his photographs one by one. The same goes for his latest April themed week. His set includes his exciting profession, a weekend full of gardening, his family and a business trip to Italy towards the end of the week. As usual, he was able to create an interesting set of events thanks to his camera and this time, he and his latest week even managed to be selected for today's Editor's Choice.

The long awaited spring season is here at last. We can finally enjoy the rays of sun or the blooming flowers, as well as the necessary energy we get from everything spring brings about. Dagmar Luhringová has definitely felt this energy after a long winter and presents it in her week called 'First spring'. People, wildlife and photographic wandering around nature are all a part of this week, showing us that Dagmar lives the life to the fullest in all sorts of exciting ways. We hope this selection in the Editor's Choice will motivate Dagmar to photograph even more weeks, so that we can all enjoy the beauty of life together.
