Being a paramedic is exhausting not only physically, but also mentally. There are several ways how to get rid of the ever present stress involved with this profession and devoting free time to all sorts of joyful and relaxation activities could be one of them. Linda Burdová’s week shows us the life of a paramedic, where we can witness days stigmatized by blood mingle with the ones filled with feelings worthy of suave poetry.

Within the Week of Life project, content was, is and always will be the number one core element. Some may think that form is the most important, since we gladly enjoy the way or style each week is portrayed in, but that is just not true, as form only plays a secondary role. This is one of the reasons why Karel Bína’s week 02 affected us so much, since it totally reflects the philosophy of the project and stands as proof in this important matter of content being at the top of the hierarchy. His set of photos equally represents photographic and documentary parts, without any empty spaces that would distort the overall feeling and impression of the whole week. He managed to record the flow of individual days and humorously created and ‘spiced up’ what could be called a clean documentary about a random week in his life.

Documenting a week of life isn't easy. We're influenced not only by our own actions, but by all kinds of other circumstances. As a direct consequence, we sometimes forget to add certain parts or details due to personal problems or lack of time. On the other hand, it's amazing to see how we can thoroughly enjoy our documented week along with the 63 photos that create an unforgettable experience. This exact feeling overwhelms anyone who comes across the week of Lenka Pužmanová, a graphic designer who made use of her profession to beautifully depict individual days full of easter atmosphere and joy of life.

The month of April is known for its April fool’s day and unsteady weather conditions. That is why we welcomed Mr. Il Em’s idea with open hands, who portrayed his week of life in the form of 2 in 1 using double exposure. In the past, we have labeled Mr. Il Elm as ‘Mister Mysterious’ and we are glad he kept to his style that characterizes him in so many ways. This time, he presented us with a double dose of his life, leaving us with the usual margin open for our own imagination.

The life of Jan Flaška - in detail. Sometimes people around us don't like to be photographed and that is why Jan chose to show us his week of life by taking unusual close-ups of places he daily visits instead. His attention to detail, shape and color tone creates an overall compact image which is appealing, inspiring and not at all boring. This is another clever way how to depict our routine as well as the uncommon parts of our lives.
