The land of St. Patrick, great whisky , step dance and stout beer has become a second home to many Czech citizens. They leave their homeland in search of work and thanks to one specific case, Ireland is the 39 th country to join the cause of the Week of Life project. Libor Klimek, who lives in the Irish capital Dublin, has introduced himself with a perfect week, capturing both his work and his free time. His alternative color toning goes against the typical Irish colors of shamrock green and gives it a very special atmosphere. We hope that Libor will appreciate his selection and will continue documenting his life for the Week of Life project.
3x3 | tam a zpátky
The sign '3x3' is at the beginning of the name of each of the three sets introduced to us so far by graphic designer with the nickname Baara. The last of these weeks was named There and back again and Baara has once again proved that the profession of a graphic designer is extremely close to photography. Color plays a dominant role in her photographs and adds to the depth of an already interesting set. Her photographic perception of the surroundings is not the only positive aspect of this set however, since the descriptions attached to individual days have a deep meaning, making us visit the week at least one more time.
Dvanásty nad osemnásť s PENom
The week of Monika Suchardová called 'Nineteenth and above 18 with a PEN' is extraordinary and differs from her previous work. Firstly, she used a different camera, one that Monika apparently adores, but more importantly in what Monika and her family had gone through during the week. Family responsibilities, exams at school or numerous doctors' visits are the main topic of her week next to the usual everyday activities. We hope that her next week comes right away, so that we can be sure everything went well at the doctors'. Congratulations to Monika for rightfully being selected for today's Editor's Choice.

Details, details and more details. That is the recognizable trait of student Anna Poláková and her first week. There are many ways of capturing our seven days of life. Some weeks are full of people and their surroundings, others are filled with small individual details captured from up close. Anna selected the second option, however, she did it in such a style that in between all the close-ups, she was able to fit in and show us the important things in her life. We look forward to her second week that will hopefully uncover more of her youthful student life.

Taking care of children is a beautiful moment in our lives, but at the same time it is a very demanding period. Being on 'maternal leave' may sound as vacation from work, however we all know that in this case, the word 'vacation' takes on a whole new different meaning. The everyday attention and care for children as well as the rest of the family may seem as a never ending cycle of repeating activities, so any kind of distraction is welcome. A camera to document life for our project seems to be a popular option, resulting in several 'motherly' weeks full of love and emotions. One of these sets has recently caught our attention, where Barbara Havlíková used her photographic vision and put together a great document of her family, her 11 th set overall.
