Today's selection, a week named Black and White sorrow, is very well done in terms of photography. It portrays the unpleasant moments of our lives, fitting in nicely with its black and white presentation. Šárka Lisníková has been documenting ordinary moments from her life as well as her career, along with all the interesting and artistic details from her surroundings, for almost a year now. Many of you enjoy the frequent visits to the Lisník family in the form of 9 photos a day and this week is surely no different.

The term fisheye is usually interpreted precisely as it is written – a fish eye view. Photographers will object however, since the term in question represents a special wide-angle lens. Its angle of view causes a distortion in the shape of the final image and is used as an artistic component. This type of lens is usually not included in your typical camera kit, so the photographs taken using this lens may seem uncommon and interesting to the eyes of the viewers. Přemysl Čech decided to capture his third week using the fisheye lens and as a result, attracted our attention and earned today’s selection. His week takes us into a so-called distorted world and it is up to us and our imagination to put together an image of Přemysl Čech’s real life.

Colors, colors and more colors. The 11th week of Miroslav Dušánek almost makes you reach for a crayon and start drawing. Unrestrained, provocative, but most importantly colorful. Miroslav pleased the little boys and girls inside us and reminded us of our childhood with his focus on detail, masterful composition and catchy playfulness. Friday and Saturday resemble a little bump on an otherwise colorful road, but due to their juicy content, the overall effect isn’t affected in any way.

If it weren’t for the unfamiliar faces in the first week of Eva Skaláková, we would have thought we were visiting a week from one of our stable contributors. The frankness and sincerity of the photographs that draws viewers in is truly amazing. Today, we cannot overlook this nearly professional set which completely absorbs you with its atmosphere and natural energy.

We never like to repeat ourselves, but we must emphasize one important aspect that has become more frequent in your weeks recently. With every new week, you tend to focus on the important things in your life and carefully select corresponding photographs to depict exactly what you wanted and based on this fact, the quality of the content rises not only with regard to your weeks, but also with regard to the quality of the entire project. The same applies to the third week of Aleš Stříbrský, who carefully mapped 7 days of his life and after browsing through all of the 63 photos, we get the feeling we experienced a family story that we like to read all over again while eagerly waiting for the sequel.
